The plants are beautiful and all 13 were consistent in height and width. And at a fraction of the cost of other garden centers. Having the team that delivered them do the planting was one of the best values I can think of. They did a great job from start to finish and even helped me with my watering system which they didn’t have to do!

Nepeta x faassenii 'Walker's Low'
Choose Walker's Low Catmint for sunny borders that need a durable, deer-resistant soft edge with a long bloom window. The tradeoff: it spreads and flops more than tighter perennials, so plan to shear it back.

PGNE Report Card
| Category | Grade | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Landscape Impact | B+ | It gives a strong soft border effect, especially in groups, but it is more relaxed than formal. |
| Growth Rate | A | It fills in quickly and does not make you wait long for a finished look. |
| Maintenance | B | It is easy to grow, but cutting it back after bloom keeps it from looking tired. |
| Deer Resistance | A- | Deer usually pass this by, since the foliage deters browsing, though no plant is completely immune where pressure is severe. |
| Small Space Fit | B- | It works in smaller beds only if you give it room to arch outward. |
| Screening Value | F | This is an edging perennial, not a plant for privacy or blocking views. |
Our Experience
At PGNE, we'd typically recommend planting it where the edge can relax a bit, then shearing after the first heavy bloom to keep the clump cleaner and push fresh growth.
