The plants are beautiful and all 13 were consistent in height and width. And at a fraction of the cost of other garden centers. Having the team that delivered them do the planting was one of the best values I can think of. They did a great job from start to finish and even helped me with my watering system which they didn’t have to do!

PGNE Report Card
| Category | Grade | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Landscape Impact | A- | It gives clear red flower color for a long season, but the shrub form is more practical than architectural. |
| Growth Rate | B | It fills in at a useful pace without acting like a screen or large background shrub. |
| Maintenance | B+ | It asks for less spraying than many roses, but pruning, cleanup, and watering still matter. |
| Deer Resistance | D | Deer may browse roses, so protect it where feeding is common. |
| Small Space Fit | A- | Its bushy habit works well in smaller beds if you leave access for pruning. |
| Screening Value | D | It is grown for flowers, not privacy or winter structure. |
Our Experience
At PGNE, we’d use Red Knock Out® Rose where steady red bloom matters more than fragrance, and we’d give it open air, clean mulch, and room to dry after rain.

Customers Usually Ask
Is it disease-free?
No rose is disease-free, but this is a better pick if you want less spraying than older hybrid tea roses.
Will deer leave it alone?
Do not count on it; use protection if deer feed in your yard.
Does it need deadheading?
Not for basic rebloom, but light cleanup keeps the plant neater.
