Choose Puffer Fish® Hydrangea if you want a compact panicle hydrangea with big white blooms on sturdy stems. The tradeoff: it is more show shrub than screen, and it still needs pruning to stay tidy.

Yes, it blooms on new wood, so winter stem damage is less of a problem than with many blue hydrangeas.
Not for rebloom, but removing old flowers can keep the plant cleaner.
They start white and can pick up blush tones later in the season.

The plants are beautiful and all 13 were consistent in height and width. And at a fraction of the cost of other garden centers. Having the team that delivered them do the planting was one of the best values I can think of.
