The plants are beautiful and all 13 were consistent in height and width. And at a fraction of the cost of other garden centers. Having the team that delivered them do the planting was one of the best values I can think of. They did a great job from start to finish and even helped me with my watering system which they didn’t have to do!

PGNE Report Card
| Category | Grade | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Landscape Impact | B | It gives clean edging and a strong bloom period, but it is quieter after flowers fade. |
| Growth Rate | B | It fills in at a steady pace without becoming a fast, hard-to-control shrub. |
| Maintenance | B+ | A light post-bloom trim keeps the mound neat and reduces the tired look later in summer. |
| Deer Resistance | B+ | Deer tend to leave this alone, though hungry deer may sample it where pressure is heavy. |
| Small Space Fit | A | Its compact mound works well along walks, steps, and small foundation beds. |
| Screening Value | D | It is too low and deciduous to provide meaningful privacy or winter cover. |
Our Experience
At PGNE, we'd typically recommend Little Princess Spirea for sunny front beds where the goal is a neat, flowering edge, not screening or winter structure.
