The plants are beautiful and all 13 were consistent in height and width. And at a fraction of the cost of other garden centers. Having the team that delivered them do the planting was one of the best values I can think of. They did a great job from start to finish and even helped me with my watering system which they didn’t have to do!

Rhododendron 'Delaware Valley White'
Choose Delaware Valley White Azalea for a low, clean white spring display in a foundation or front border. The tradeoff: it needs acidic, well-drained soil and is not the best pick where deer feed regularly.

- You need a low evergreen shrub.
- Your soil is acidic and drains well.

PGNE Report Card
| Category | Grade | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Landscape Impact | B+ | The white bloom is clean and useful, but the plant is quiet once flowering is finished. |
| Growth Rate | B- | It fills in at a moderate pace, so do not expect instant coverage. |
| Maintenance | B | It is manageable if planted in the right soil, but it will not forgive poor drainage or high pH. |
| Deer Resistance | D | This is not a shrub we would trust in regular deer feeding areas without protection. |
| Small Space Fit | A- | Its compact, bushy habit works well near walks, entries, and low windows. |
| Screening Value | D | It is too low to provide meaningful screening, even when planted in groups. |
Our Experience
At PGNE, we'd typically recommend this for protected foundation beds with acidic soil, morning light, and decent drainage. If deer are common at the planting site, choose a different shrub or plan on protection.
