PGNE Report Card
Category
Grade
Why
Landscape Impact
B
It does not change the look of the planting much, but it supports cleaner watering than dragging hoses through beds.
Growth Rate
B
It will not make plants grow fast by itself, but steadier moisture helps new roots settle in.
Maintenance
B-
Plan on checking connections, adjusting flow, and cleaning up the line before winter.
Deer Resistance
A
Deer are not feeding on irrigation tubing, though exposed lines still need protection from foot traffic and tools.
Small Space Fit
C
This kit is more than most small beds need, so shorter setups are usually cleaner.
Screening Value
B+
For privacy rows, consistent watering can help the whole line establish more evenly.

Tree Bag
Choose Tree Bag for watering individual new trees; choose Irrigation Setup KIT -250 ft when you need to water a connected row or bed.
Our Experience
At PGNE, we’d typically recommend a drip setup when customers are installing a longer run of new shrubs or perennials and know they will not hand-water evenly every few days.

Customers Usually Ask
Is this permanent irrigation?
No, think of it as a temporary drip setup for establishment watering.
Can I use it for trees?
Yes for a row, but single trees are often simpler with a Tree Bag.
Do I still need to check it?
Yes, check flow, leaks, dry spots, and hose connections regularly.
We use your zone to recommend plants that survive your winters, and to estimate when your

I went up there today from Quincy MA to pick up two Blue Wichita Junipers and they were absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Chris and everybody from Pro Growers of New England!

The plants are beautiful and all 13 were consistent in height and width. And at a fraction of the cost of other garden centers. Having the team that delivered them do the planting was one of the best values I can think of. They did a great job from start to finish and even helped me with my watering system which they didn’t have to do!

Great prices and Unbelievable selection of big and small trees, shrubs, and flowering perennials! Nicest folks to work with. And local delivery is awesome! First time purchasing from this company, , and have already told friends, neighbors and family. The owner Chris is professional, knowledgeable, and yet laid back in a most friendly way. Mags in the office will help with any details. My all time BEST garden purchase EVER!
Bought 8-10 ft and all were barely 8 if you count the container. Trees are thin and lots of brown branches and broken branches due you thrown in box truck no wrapping or anything. Hoping they survive and thicken up quick…
