Juniperus virginiana 'Grey Owl'

Grey Owl Juniper is a broad, spreading evergreen shrub prized for its soft silver-blue foliage, graceful arching branches, and dependable year-round color. Its wide, low-growing habit makes it an excellent choice for mass plantings, slopes, foundation beds, erosion control, and large evergreen borders.

A cultivar of native Eastern red cedar, Grey Owl is highly adaptable and tolerates drought, poor soils, rocky sites, urban conditions, and deer pressure once established. Female plants may also produce blue-gray berry-like cones that attract birds and add seasonal interest.
