Shawnee Brave® Bald Cypress is an improved selection of our native Bald Cypress, prized for its narrow pyramidal form, strong central leader, and soft, feathery foliage that turns a brilliant copper-orange in fall. Unlike the species, Shawnee Brave® maintains a more upright, symmetrical habit, making it an excellent choice for residential landscapes, streetscapes, large lawns, and commercial properties.

Highly adaptable, this native tree thrives in both wet and dry soils, tolerates heat, drought, urban conditions, and road salt once established, and develops into a majestic, long-lived shade tree throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine.
